"Treat People With Kindness" is a song performed by Harry Styles. It serves as the eleventh track from Harry's album, Fine Line. It was released as a promotional single on January 1, 2021.

Background

Styles teased the song on his self-titled debut world tour, using the slogan "TPWK", on a badge on his guitar and on tour merchandise, including Pride t-shirts sold to raise funds for GLSEN. This gave Styles the idea of writing a song to go with the slogan titled "Treat People with Kindness", which is the eleventh track on his second studio album, Fine Line.

In October 2019, teaser posters including the phrase "Do you know who you are?" and the acronym "TPWK" were spotted in London, Tokyo, Los Angeles, New York and Australia, connecting them to Harry and his new album release due to the reference to his "Treat People with Kindness" motto.

Images of the music video were leaked during the last week of 2020.

“This up-with-people singalong doesn’t sound like anything else on the album. It began after the slogan was featured prominently on Styles’ first solo tour: “I told Jeff, I would love to someday write a song called ‘Treat People With Kindness.’ And he was like, ‘Why don’t you just do it?’ It made me uncomfortable at first, because I wasn’t sure what it was — but then I wanted to lean into that. I feel like that song opened something that’s been in my core.”
